What makes iGrafx Process Mining unique?

In the reality of your business, it's rare for one of your processes to be a linear sequence of successive activities.

Processes are not only made up of a set of events (a timestamp), but also of multiple activities (tasks with a duration).

Activities are often simultaneous when several systems and teams are involved.

iGrafx technology enables the faithful representation of processes whose activities are simultaneous and executed in parallel.

Our Process Mining innovation

Because conventional Process Discovery algorithms (Genetic Miner, Heuristic Miner, Alpha, Alpha+, Alpha++,...) are unable to detect competition correctly and completely, we have invented our own Process Mining algorithm based on over 12 years of R&D with no computation time constraints.

Based on the different timestamps available (double timestamp event log), it automatically creates a temporal causal relationship between activities.

It can detect simultaneity in all situations, such as :

• Competition between activities (when activities overlap, or when activities with a single timestamp occur at the same time)
• Competition when combined with a loop, or when several competitions are nested.
• Multi-instance parallel BPMN model (same activity name at same time)
• It is also possible to display information about concurrency, concurrency rate and parallel multi-instances on the adapted DFG graph and BPMN model.
• We've invented an improved compliance checking algorithm to handle activity duration, concurrency and the multi-instance model.
